I raise my hands in acknowledgment and gratitude to the First Nations People of Turtle Island, upon whose ancestral and unceded land we exist, for the privilege I hold of living and being every day.

Meet Meredith

Meredith Graham is a proud young person from government care, a spoken word artist, a youth advisor with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, a youth worker, and an advocate for systems change especially inside our child welfare system, mental health system, and educational institutions.

I am able to craft an engaging, comedic, thought and emotion-provoking, intimate, participatory presentation tailored entirely to the needs of your organization and audience.

My diverse and complex life experiences have provided me with a lens of lived experience, truth, critical analysis, and constructive feedback that can be utilized to influence.

I have extensive experience facilitating workshops across British Columbia weaving together mental health, spoken-word, and rights of children.

Meredith Graham is an inspirational speaker and spoken word artist who brings heart to any events she engages in. I've witnessed her move a room to tears with her thoughtful listening spun into poem that lets people know they've been heard and I've seen people in stitches because the humour she brings relieves stress and anxiety over the things which are hard but necessary to discuss. I highly recommend her for your event because I know no other who so masterfully listens and reflects back the beauty of participants like she does.

Meredith did an incredible Keynote presentation at this year’s IGNITE Student Conference here at Princess Margaret. Her genuine, raw, heartfelt story resonated with students and staff alike. She touched many lives that day and gave them inspiration and hope for the future. We love you Meredith!
