Keynote Speaking

I am able to craft an engaging, comedic, thought and emotion – provoking, intimate, participatory presentation tailored entirely to the needs of your organization and audience. My audiences have been across the country, wide-ranging in numbers from 20 – 1,500 people, and diverse in purpose from members of small community non-profits, various service providers, students in high schools and universities, teachers in elementary schools, social workers, philanthropists, and attendees at fundraising events and galas. Often, these presentations are delivered through the storytelling medium of spoken word poetry with an invitation for action, at closing, that complements the intentional work that you do in your group or organization and the forward–moving goals and aspirations. Themes I have presented on in the past include (but are not limited to): journeying through adversity, mental illness(es), homelessness, government care, art as a tool for healing and advocacy, school and graduation, trauma-informed practice, youth engagement, community engagement, and the intersections of these places.
